I read on a blog on the internet that this seat is much better than the original seat on the Shwinn 170 upright bike. The blogger tried several brands and decided this was the best. For me, my sit bones were killing me with the original Shwinn 170 seat and after only 2.5 miles I had to stop. Now I can walk 10 miles before my butt hurts. Let's be honest. Bike seats are always going to be a bit uncomfortable, but this seat made a huge difference, at least for me. This special seat fits the Shwinn 170 exactly like the original seat.
