We live in an RV and only have a stove top. We love to grill out but conditions are not always best. Mosquitoes, rain, wind, heat and cold minimize the prime grilling window. We wanted to expand on what we could cook indoors and this seemed like the perfect choice.First thing after receiving the grill we went straight to the cook book and decided on the Honey Mustard BBQ Chicken Breasts. My wife went and got the necessary ingredients. I worked on the chicken while she cooked rice pilaf. I followed the recipe and instructions in the book. From start to finish, including prep, we had a beautiful, delicious meal, ready to eat, in 30 minutes. It was so good we had it again the next night. Our next meal was hamburgers. I just used the chart in the back of the book. It states you do not have to flip them but I chose to anyway because I wanted grill marks on both sides (I will mention this at end of review). The burgers came great. We also did fries with the Air Crisper as a side and I never expected them to taste better than traditional oil fry. I had to cook two batches because I picked at the first one. Next meal was Chicken Kabobs. We were able to get 4 larger portion skewers on the grill. I looked in the book and online but everyone was Air Frying these, claiming that the veggies would be overdone if you grilled. I chose to try grilling anyway. I set heat to high and timer to 20. I used the temp probe manually to check temperature during grilling. I flipped halfway through and internal temp got to about 170 degrees. These came out excellent. Chicken was done and juicy. Veggies were perfect and not overcooked. I may try the Air Fry method next but these were so good, that like the chicken breasts, we had them again the next day.My only two complaints are minor. When grilling you will get beautiful grill marks on the first side. Even though you flip, they will practically non existent on the second side. I think this is due to two reason. One is you don't have to flip because it cooks both sides. When you flip the burger the said hitting the grill for the first time is already partially cooked. Second is the grill itself is likely not has hot. I think to get grill marks on both sides you may have to grill one side for just couple minutes, flip and then finish cooking. I will test this out later.Other thing I do not like is the thermometer cord just going between the lid and base. It does prevent it from closing all the way but not enough to really matter. I would have liked it there had been an internal port maybe, integrated into the lid. Not sure if its feasible. Anyway that is a minor complaint and nothing you should consider in making your purchasing decision. You should already have this in your cart and entering information for payment and shipping.
