Made in Wisconsin, this walnut pick measures 9" x 12" x 9" x 12" and was purchased to attach one of the many swords I carry around Bought house in boxes. . At a low price of $12, I couldn't make anything of this quality in my workshop. Neither anyone nor my friends could do something like this with their respective talents, tools and time. This plate is precision machine quality. The quality of the wood looks very good and paints well. My only concern is that the walnut wood will not bring the stain to its marked condition. Attached is a photo of the oak stain I used to get the color. This is the first time I've used this staining technique due to the limited design and simplicity. The resulting shade isn't my favorite, but it will do.
