Review on πŸ”΅ Elmer's Adhesive Dot Stamper, 500 Clear Dots, Blue & Green - Enhanced for SEO by Barbara Simmons

It takes a little practice, but it works great!

I bought this sticky dot stamp for my daughter to use for pinning documents and photos to her History Day project board. I hate glue sticks (you need so many of them and they never let you down when there's a huge glob in the middle of the page, plus it's so messy when it splatters down the sides) and I've run out of liquid glue. For years we experimented with contact cement, an old wax I had from my newspaper days. again and again. This is the PERFECT tool for young and old. The ONLY thing I noticed is that you have to hold it as straight as possible and push with even pressure until it touches the paper. That's all! You CANNOT push it as fast as you would punching rubber - it won't puncture properly. Kids don't have a problem with it and neither do I. We've used it on about 4 projects and I haven't had to change a role yet, so it's pretty economical. The dots are pretty flimsy so don't add any bulk between coats and they'll hold up great! And no more wavy scraps of paper from wet glue and glue sticks!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly
