May be better suited for painting, coloring and art supplies

I have this to fill a scrapbook so I used dots to hold various items. Half the time the dots don't come apart and I have to rip them off the strip with my nails. The points are very strong, so it's great. I just want the dispenser to work better.

Pros
  • No More Peeling and Sticking
Cons
  • Quality

Perfect for sewing!

I use this self-adhesive dot stamp to temporarily stick plastic stencils onto roller-cut fabric and it does a great job of moving the stencils around! For more delicate fabrics (especially digitally printed ones) I use a piece of scrap fabric to apply glue a few times to remove some of the stickiness before gluing to the fabrics. Particularly suitable for cutting out application templates.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Go the other way. for drawing

Yes, the "dots" are very strong, but placing them takes some practice. which would only be a minor problem if they all worked. but in almost half the cases they are not distributed at all. And to top it off, if you try to use them on anything thinner than good cardstock (like some patterned papers), the dots will tear the thin paper and ruin your project. I wrote to the company about this and received no reply or compensation. Elmer's makes some very decent products, but stay away from them.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

It takes a little practice, but it works great!

I bought this sticky dot stamp for my daughter to use for pinning documents and photos to her History Day project board. I hate glue sticks (you need so many of them and they never let you down when there's a huge glob in the middle of the page, plus it's so messy when it splatters down the sides) and I've run out of liquid glue. For years we experimented with contact cement, an old wax I had from my newspaper days. again and again. This is the PERFECT tool for young and old. The ONLY thing I…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly
