My 8 year old peed in bed every night. He sleeps very well, sleeping most nights due to bedwetting, resulting in morning washes and a bath in the middle of an already chaotic morning. If he woke up in the middle of the night, it would inevitably be at 2 or 3 am, which meant he would have to wash and change his bed linen in the early hours of the morning. This alarm clock changed everything! It took us about a month to get it working, but my son eventually started waking up as soon as the alarm went off and eventually stopped wetting the bed. It completely changed the rules of the game in my house. It makes a rustling sound so we had to get used to it and only one case is supplied, but the company will send you more (for a fee, which is very reasonable) if you call them. The only thing to note is that the alarm clock is really sensitive to any kind of humidity, so if you have a sweaty sleep it will work. There were a couple of nights it worked because my son was sweating in his sleep. We simply turned off the alarm and that caused him to get out of bed to go to the bathroom. I would also suggest buying hospital grade ammo to go under alert. Their absorbent pads (I found them at Revain) can be used when the alarm goes off, so you don't have to take the mattress pad off the bed if your child has an accident. I would give this thing 10 stars if I could - worth every penny I spent on it!
