See we get it. You want to use it to crack walnuts or you decide to put pork chops on the bone here and that's why you don't give it a good rating. It happens. But if you're interested in making minced garlic for homemade pizza, olive tapenade for a book club, or slicing veggies for ratatouille, this is definitely your machine. It will also speed up slicing and dicing. Easy cleaning. All of that goes in the dishwasher (not the base, of course. I have to say, there's always someone there) and washes quickly, even by hand. It's nice and quiet here too. There's a lot to be said for taking good care of your stuff and I know things aren't done the way they used to be. It might not exactly be a BIFL (Buy It For Life) deal, but if you take good care of it and don't put stones in it, you'll have it for long. Treat your toy with respect and it will treat you well.
