Review on 🎶 JENSEN JTA-220 3-Speed Turntable: AM/FM Receiver & Stereo Speakers Combo for Immersive Audio Experience by Ricardo Mercado

Two stars can actually be a bit generous and I'm not a particularly harsh reviewer. I bought one of these because I'm not a big audiophile and just wanted to listen to my old records every now and then, except the first one I got had a mechanical problem and the platter wouldn't spin at all. Luckily, Revain's amazing return policy made it easy for me to send it back and get a replacement. When I got the second one I was happy to see that the platter worked properly and seemed to spin at the right speed, albeit a bit wobbly. But lo and behold: the built-in speakers don't work. General. While it's not a death sentence (the sound quality from the speakers was terrible to begin with, so I was planning on plugging them into my stereo), it's an indication of the quality of the product. Two different pieces of hardware fail in two different ways which is a sign that the product is very poorly made and I understand there is scope for inexpensive consumer electronics but I don't think I'm that lucky that I did only got two that don't work properly. Of course you won't buy the cheapest turntable from Revain if you want something top notch, but I think every consumer expects even a cheap product to work, at least work as intended. right out of the box. This player falls short of the simplest of standards and I cannot recommend it to anyone. I am very disappointed and will not buy anything from this company again if their quality standards are so low.
