UPDATE: Great until seemingly unmated plugs melt, destroying the device and potentially burning your house down. Anova's answer? "Your warranty has expired." Your products should be recalled immediately, EXTREMELY dangerous. And if you google "Anova Melted Cork" you will see that there are many others with the same problem. Be ashamed that you do not take responsibility for your extremely dangerous product. Might be time for a class action lawsuit. --------------------------------- OLD REVIEW: This is my third Anova Sous Vide purchase. This time as a gift, but I'm a long-time user of this device and I really like it. In fact, I prefer Anova One simply because I like making large batches of products. Here are a few things I find very useful: Instead of a saucepan, use Camwear's square polycarbonate storage container. Get the lid that came with CamWear and cut out a hole for sous vide. This prevents water from evaporating and heat from being retained. To protect your work surface or floor, OXO Good Grips Silicone Drying Mat. I use clamps and small weights to keep the food from floating to the top and keep it completely submerged.
