Review on ๐ŸŠ The Friendly Swede 2-Pack Adult Swim Goggles: Interchangeable Nose Pieces and Protective Cases by Steven Thelin

Maybe I should swim to Sweden

I haven't competed in a long time, but I've recently started swimming again to practice. I was looking for top quality glasses similar to the ones I competed in and bought two pairs of Friendly Swede glasses. I've swum in them a few times so far and they've been just as good if not better than the ones I competed in. I haven't had too much time with them so I'll update my review in the future but I doubt I'll have any issues with them. Anyway, I will try to talk about each part of the points based on my experience. First of all, friendly Swede(s). I'll start with the best point in hopes that when you stop reading this review you at least get this one. I received an email from the seller asking for feedback on the glasses and I don't usually reply to emails but this time I asked a few questions about eyewear care. Jessie replied quickly and very kindly - she was very nice, very honest and really helpful. When I asked, she even told me the story of her name! I haven't had any problems with glasses so far, but I'm sure that if I had had one, I would have solved my problems very quickly. Second, the price: I bought two pairs for about $25 with taxes - that would get me a pair of glasses any other place I wanted to buy them. My old glasses were $25 for a pair and didn't even fit as comfortably as these, so this purchase didn't take much thought. Third, and most importantly, the quality: both glasses seem to be of better quality than my old ones. glasses (even if they were new) and fit better and more comfortably. I'll break it down piece by piece: Lenses: The lenses are clear with a wide field of view so you can see where you're going - I think they could be a bit wider than my other glasses. They may not give you as good a view as goggles, but I really hope you don't dive with them. They're very lightly tinted (not actually) so I wouldn't use them as outdoor goggles for training in the summer, but they're great for indoor pools. I haven't tested them for scratch resistance and hope I never will, but they appear to be standard hard plastic so I wouldn't rub them in concrete just yet. In terms of anti-fog protection they were just great - I swam (several times) in 30ยฐC water for more than an hour and by the end of the workout the goggles barely fogged up. I even poured water into my glasses and could still see clearly. I'll update my review when the anti-fog goes away - hopefully not soon. Eyepieces: Eyepieces that cover the eyes are very useful. I prefer narrow ones, and after replacing the tower with a shorter one, the goggles fit my eyes perfectly. I've always had uncomfortable raccoon eyes after swimming, but they were very comfortable and needed very little adjustment after I put them on for the first time. While I might still have marks around my eyes after I took them off, they faded quickly and didn't irritate me at all. Strap: I noticed that a little later when adjusting the straps, but the straps for the goggles are actually quite reasonably constructed. While my competition goggles had a thin, flat strap through the entire goggle, those straps were cylindrical in the middle and flat at the back of the head - so they were easy to adjust and refill without twisting, and also stayed comfortable when I wore them her at. . It was also very easy to adjust the length and fit of the goggles and the material feels solid. Basically, unless someone gives me their glasses for free, you can't beat The Friendly Swede's customer service, price and quality right now. Even then, I might have preferred these glasses a bit more.
