Pretty good holder for the price. I like that the holder can be easily removed from the base. The padding inside is quite hard, but it can be removed for washing, which is necessary from time to time. In any case, I use an additional, softer pad for long tours. I had to deduct a star because the handle on my rack is difficult to fully extend and will not articulate to the correct pull height unless fully extended. I can stretch it all the way, but it takes a little time and patience - you may not have that luxury when traveling. Once deployed it works great although the handle is also difficult to fully retract. Rolls well although a little noisy I suppose better wheels could always be attached to the base if that's a problem. Overall for my use (to and from the vet and "hurricanes") this is what I need.
