So this is the blue epoxy filled coil I was looking for. It worked great when I installed it on my 1974 MG Midget. Spool stamped made in Brazil. However, I give it a bad rating as it only lasted about 3 months. The car started to stall at high rpm, and after a week or so the coil became so weak that it was barely producing enough spark to keep it idling. I installed an older Pertronix coil from another midget I have and the machine woke up again. I've heard that epoxy filled coils don't dissipate heat well and this coil got hot. Your experience may vary. I'm afraid they aren't what they used to be.
