I was wondering why my towels are becoming less and less absorbent over time. When I mentioned this to my sister, she said the problem was with the chemicals in the dryers and that I should use wool dryer balls instead. I wasn't sure if she was right, but I decided to give it a try. I have ordered 3 pack premium wool dryer balls and have been using them in place of dryer sheets for the past few weeks. They really seem to help - towels are regaining their former absorbency, and I love the idea of using all-natural products instead of chemical-laden stuff. It took me a few downloads to get used to the sound of the balls bouncing around in the dryer, but I don't hear it anymore. I know some people use tennis balls, but I don't know what tennis balls are actually made of - I suspect it's most likely something synthetic. Plus, I can add my own scent by dripping scented oils onto the balls (or leave the scent out altogether). I don't buy dryers anymore - I think they are a healthier alternative. I'm glad I tried them
