I bought these to easily style my hair at night as I've been doing wet and frizzy hairstyles for sleep for years. The coils have to be manually fed many times to keep them from getting tangled, the set slipped a bit in my sleep but the rest of my head was so uncomfortable (worse than a sponge in my sleep!). If they were softer it might be worth it. Unfortunately pull a lot of hair, detangle coils and sleep poorly later, I won't be using them again.
