I've had four of these units in the last eight years. My first one lasted almost two years, worked great and didn't leak. I accidentally dropped it from the rack and it broke so I had to replace it. The second worked perfectly, didn't leak and lasted 5 years. After 5 years of washing in the dishwasher, the rubber stopper came loose and started leaking. It's my fault as he recommends washing hands. The last two I've bought in the last five months have been leaking since day one and the metal ball is stuck. I bought the first and ordered the second hoping I just had a bad blockage. The second one I bought did the same thing with the addition that the cork kept slipping out and water spilled all over the place. Once upon a time there was a great and reliable product. I'm not sure what happened, but it's not a good product anymore. I would advise the manufacturer to keep the glass bottle, have a screw cap with a rubber seal and get rid of the metal ball problem. I couldn't find a similar product and had to go back to the water bowl, which has to be changed constantly because it gets dirty. Very disappointed in what was once a great product.
