My Love for HiyaHiya Replacement Needles

I bought this set to add to my existing HiyaHiya needles - I LOVE the sharp HiyaHiya replacement needles . I try other brands so I have a collection of random dice and carbon, Knitter's Pride, addi Lace, Sock Rocket and others, Chiagoo and interchangeable jerseys, but I always go back to HiyaHiya. What I like about HiyaHiyas? - The metal needles are stainless steel, not nickel, which either stinks (e.g. Addis) or can cause a reaction for those with allergies - I have NEVER had a needle come loose while knitting - can't comment on others Kits I've used, or other brands (after what other knitters have said) - they offer sharp needles and the ends are REALLY SHARP! Ideal for lace patterns. I find that some branded needles are labeled as sharp and aren't sharp enough for me. I almost never need fuzzy needles, but if I need a less sharp one on a regular basis, HiyaHiya makes one too. - The metal needles are nice and smooth, so the stitching doesn't stick. The cables swivel so I don't waste time wrestling with the cable while using it. 2.5 gauge needle - Cables now have a safety cable hole - Extra tips and cables are pretty easy to buy online - You have two different lengths of needle tips! This is great because I prefer 5 inches (more comfortable for my hands), but if you're working with something like a sleeve or hat, you can use shorter tips and cords to create a 16 inch circle. I even worked with a 5 inch and 4 inch lace attached to the line to get the exact length I needed to knit the smaller piece in the round. Bamboo needles are available alongside metal needles, and the same lines are used for bamboo. and connections. Bamboo tips have just the right amount of stickiness for slippery yarns and projects. There are special cables for large (9-15) and small, but there are plugs so you can use small cables with large ones. Available in 5 convenient lengths, the cables form a connector that allows you to join 2 cables - HiyaHiya's interchangeable cables can now be turned into straight needles. I look forward to trying them on a scarf soon. They come with a decent (not perfect) carrying case for the whole set. d will never be needed again. If they only offered interchangeable parts down to size 0 and started making square needles, life would be great ;)
