I actually have an Oyen internal hard drive in my PS4. I upgraded my 500GB drive to 1TB using a kit offered by Oyen. It hasn't let me down in the years I've had it. When my 1T started to fill up I didn't want to switch to the internal 2T as I would have to reinstall all my games. So I wanted to go with an external hard drive. I bought it and it's been working great ever since. Just plug in, format and you're done. Games can be installed on this drive, but remember that game saves are automatically transferred to the internal hard drive. You can back up your saves by copying the files to this drive. I will update if anything changes. Update: A year later and it still works!
