I like it a lot.: 2 in 1 laptops

Having always used "Windows" so I'm brand new to Chromebooks this is definitely a learning curve. I feel limited as I have only ever used Microsoft type computers and age may slow down my learning speed. I will try to update this review over time. My old laptop was very slow and I was looking for something different and faster. First impressions after 1 week of using the Chromebook: - It's FAST. Pages load very fast! All my data and settings from my old computer were easily migrated thanks to the fact that I've been using Chrome for the past few years. All my photos are there. Chromebook shows you how and walks you through the process. The keyboard backlight CAN be made brighter to improve key visibility. This was one of my biggest concerns as many reviews mention it. At first, the key was difficult to see because of the dim light. I didn't see any mention of it on the Chromebook at first and needed a quick fix. Googling showed me how to do it. I followed the instructions and now I can see the keys very well in normal household lighting. - Learning keyboard shortcuts takes some learning. I take notes in a notebook.- There is a Chromebook simulator for learning.- It has a simple and responsive touchscreen.- The screen brightness is easily adjustable. Don't touch it and it won't go completely flat. The touchscreen is reasonably responsive. - Any questions about using this Chromebook can be easily answered with a quick Google search. - The screen turns on immediately when I open it, unless I turn off the Chromebook. The navigation icons are located at the bottom of the screen. I'm still learning; will be updated.
