Review on ๐Ÿ’ช Efficient and Versatile: WirthCo 32990 Funnel King Push-Style Grease Gun with Hydraulic and Flush Couplers by Rob Parsons

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Missing parts, not working very well.

Don't buy this one. Both the first batch and the replacement from Revain were missing the 2 tips shown in the picture. This means it will not work with flush fittings that require a cone. I thought I was unlucky, but the threaded brass tip has a concave cone on the end. Forming a seal with a ball fitting on my machine worked in my case (it would probably work with regular Zerk hydraulic fittings as well). But there is another problem: the pressure is too low to pump lubricant (or in other words, the amount of lubricant per stroke is too large). The oiler's non-return valve alone could hardly be overcome, let alone the back pressure caused by the grease in the machine. "Just hold the barrel and squeeze to squeeze out the grease" - yes, not too much, there's a reason grease guns work up to 1000psi. I suppose this can be useful if you have a faucet without a check valve and mostly open at the back.
