This cute specimen was exactly as advertised. It was easy and worked very well. The tip was perfectly formed and only needed rubbing to keep the chalk in place. The grip works great, especially when shooting with it, not only because you can comfortably hold it lower or higher on the butt of the cue. The hard leather tip is great for breaking and shooting, although I took it to my cue specialist to shave the shaft thinner and put on a medium tip, but only because I use English a lot when shooting. This cue is the perfect starting cue for the casual pool shooter. If you are a more experienced player, this is also a great and economical cue that can be professionally modified to your liking. Why spend an astronomical amount of money on a cue if you can't afford it when the cue is perfectly usable? It can be shaved and re-tipped for about $20, which is 10 times less than a custom designer cue. A great cue for the price!
