Too hot as the boot is neoprene which has a high bacterial content when the hooves sweat Zipper. This may be a good boot for horses in a smart stable and colder temperatures but where I live my stable gets flooded in spring and is very dirty, the plastic zip doesn't last long filled with mud and the angle of the zip won't let me down Boots don't fully open and I think it will be difficult for me to put the boot on. I prefer horse slippers which I have used many times and they work well in a small area. It's easy to put on and take off and easy to wash, but I tape the slippers over the Velcro straps for extra security. I prefer velcro over zippers simply because I don't think a zipper will last long in a dirty place.
