Review on ๐Ÿ‘ฉ Adeept Starter Kit for Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ B: LCD1602, Motor, C and Python Code - Beginner's Guide with User Manual by Duy Desperado

Great complete starter kit.

This is a great kit for learning different ways of using your Raspberry Pi. I am using RPi 3, Raspian (Jesse). The supplied kit is very extensive: everything you need to carry out typical projects. The examples cover everything from a simple blinking LED to a TCP/IP client/server example. I didn't do all the projects but everything I tried worked. The instructions in the supplied documentation are sufficient. There is a PDF document with step-by-step instructions and source code for each project, both "C" and Python (I'm a "C" person). The improvements I would suggest are minimal. In general, the documentation was excellent, but I would have liked to see the default schemes for each of the exercises. Some had diagrams of the actual demo, but others just had pictures showing how to wire the example. The images worked, but sometimes I had to extract the datasheets for external parts (like the LCD) to make sure I connected the wiring correctly. Adeept's support has been great. I had some trouble connecting the WiringPi library, but that's not an adept problem. I wrote to support about a small issue and got a quick response. Also, the breadboard power supply was damaged upon receipt (the top edge of the USB connector was bent and the power button didn't work), and Adeept fixed the problem quickly. They sent the whole new kit, not just the damaged board. So there are no complaints about Adeept support. It was excellent.
