Stainless steel is considered a hard metal to engrave or emboss. If you're buying this to use with the Cricut Maker or any other Cricut machine, don't worry. I tried several times with different settings and different pressures, but almost no lines or marks came out. It's just too difficult to engrave or mark. If you hand stamp, be careful as this is really a tiny piece and it will be difficult to hold still while you hammer. Shame as the coloring is really pretty and a good size for delicate pretty jewellery. Back as I just can't use it. It's better if you just want to put it in pieces like an empty keychain.
