The stool is delivered unupholstered in a kind of bubble wrap, folded and tightly packed. It took about 4-5 bags of clothes and a double blanket to stuff it to how it looks in my photos, I can add a bit more if I want. It has a nice sturdy zipper on the back that runs right down the middle so you can easily fill the stool. In the padding, it measures 31 inches wide (with puffed sides as shown in the photo) and 15 inches high, but it can definitely be 16 or even 17 inches depending on how you stuff it. The quality of the leather is excellent, no problems with it at the moment. The leather looks worn but was also visible in the product photos. Overall I think this is a great stool at a reasonable price!
