I use it to humidify my large bedroom and master bathroom. Not large enough for the whole house as advertised, which is not uncommon for most stand alone whole house humidifiers. Buy a bigger unit than you think you need, it's easy to reduce humidity, but if there's not enough power for your space, it's useless. That works great. Love this because: The first humidifier/wick I ordered broke and the company stood by their product and sent out a replacement with extra filters asap! I like it because it takes 2 days to refill. Very quiet. I love that the tanks have no caps and washers - just a patented tank that works magically. The motor is at the top and the drip tray is at the bottom, so if I have any problems, there will be no water spilling/leaking even if I move the device. It is easy to clean and maintain. Out of the water very light. Excellent goods. Make sure the wicks are soft when you use them, otherwise the device will not emit moisture. I have a small humidity sensor in my bedroom to check this. This unit doesn't display the percentage of moisture it's producing (it uses dials) - I don't need the digital controls because my cat is playing and turning the digital controls on and off to feel the wind in his whiskers.
