Good UG filter, suitable for fish and aquatic animals

I like this filter even though it has two plates. Plates are strong but could be bigger. They leave a little more space on the sides and between the panels than we would like. I like beaded fins more than flat fins because they work well in both salt and fresh water. Upstream tubes could be a bit longer. They are too short for a larger tank. I used them in a 40 breeder, it's a short tank and I only had to trim a couple of inches.
