I was very happy when I received this product. It seemed well made as it was made of metal and of simple construction. However, I quickly realized that this wasn't quite what I had hoped for. The shells simply rest against the metal loop, and while you can push them down, if you press too hard, the weld between the loop and the hangar will tear and become unusable. This happened to one of the two I bought. In addition, they are extremely easy to hit and knock over, causing water or food to spill throughout the interior of the box. I ended up zipping up our remaining bowl and it seems to be working fine. Our dog tries to "bury" the uneaten food, so he keeps knocking over the bowl. We eventually switched to a regular dog platter and she had no problem with it. While this is a satisfactory product for our needs, if you just need something to hang in the drawer and hold water or food and your pet is calm enough, then this is great for you. They are secure enough when filled with liquids or solids that they won't tip over when your pet uses them.
