I needed to replace a wheel stud on my Subaru. I've read a lot of DIY tutorials where people use washers, sockets, etc. This seems like a much better solution. The cone aligns tool, bolt and clamping nut. The bearing rotates, eliminating the torque required to overcome friction. It's the right size for my BRZ (no problem fitting the hub, not too thick, not too thin). I suspect this tool will serve me well for years to come as I won't be using it much. It's not "cheap" like washers, but I'm willing to pay for things that make my car easier to work with. This is practically free compared to paying in-store for wheel stud replacement.
