Review on MR CARTOOL Automotive Adjustable Flowmeter by Michael Glassburn

MR CARTOOL MODEL T130 SMOKE EVAPORATOR CAR AUTO (ASIN-B08YK3TDXP) has most of the features of this manufacturer's line of smoke detectors. The unit is fully self-contained with accessories included in the kit to check for leaks on the intake manifold, fuse, exhaust, turbo, EVAP, crankcase and vehicle gasket. The power supply for operation is provided by a car battery. At one end of the cable there are charging clips for attaching to the battery posts. They have red and black caps for proper attachment. The manufacturer suggests oil, but according to the product information, baby oil or mineral oil can also be used. The kit includes a plastic bottle for pouring oil into the device. After use, the oil is returned to the same bottle through the front drain. Various accessories allow connection to various vehicle systems for testing. A cone port is provided, but special airbag, EVAP and BMW adapters are included. Larger rubber exhaust pipe connector with soft rubber on one side, suitable for different size pipes. There are eight different sizes of the soft rubber part. The smoke hose is 1.5m long so it can be placed in the engine bay when testing EVAP hoses. The front panel contains all controls, indicator lights and sensors. There is an oil level tube, air flow meter, pressure gauge with separate switches for air (green) and smoke mode (red). The oil drain hole is located at the base of the liquid meter. The back contains a smoke vent, power input (12V) and ON/OFF switch. The device is housed in a metal case with a carrying handle on top. All entrances, exits, indicator lights and sensors are labeled for identification. The device is delivered in a cardboard box. Inside is a custom-made foam topper that covers most of the device. It is connected to another special foam rubber holder at the base. In my opinion, this is a good case for storage and travel, convenient. The outer carton also has a carrying handle.
