Review on Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO Open Studio Headphones - High-Quality Sound for Professionals by Indal Singh ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

I pair it with the Asus Essence ST, and the sound quality is excellent. The only drawback is the one I mentioned earlier, but I've gotten used to it by now; it's a great companion for people who are shopping. The sound is taken to a whole new level with the addition of the Laconic HA-06. Many advantages: 1) The sound is wonderful, and it has a lot of space while yet being forceful, which is just what you want (frequency response is quite even, but with a bias towards the bottom). 2) Design - metal alloy (headband), high-quality durable-looking plastic (cups), twisted wire, thick, reinforced with Kevlar, the jack is large and inspires confidence (+ screw-on adapter to 6.3), and the soft gasket between the headband and head is easy to remove and clean if it becomes necessary to do so. 3) Convenience: they fit precisely on the head, almost as if a cast had been formed of the skull (after 20 minutes, you forget that they are even on the head), the velour ear cushions are quite comfortable and cover the ear in its whole, and the headphones have a noise-isolating design. Got cons: Regrettably, the recording can be heard in its true form when using these headphones, despite the fact that the primary intent of the headphones is to facilitate work in a recording studio. To put it another way, if the track was designed with a focus on high frequencies (metal and its derivatives), then the high frequencies will dominate the output, which will result in a high-frequency blow to your ears. Because of this, you should select a source with a low level of brightness. The bass is the same, and in some situations there are headphones that produce a shaking effect:
