I ran it with a reduced voltage 12/6V 3A step-down converter as monitoring only runs at 5V 2A if you use a USB adaptation mod that adds a USB video port mount. You'll need to see how to make this adjustment on YouTube. Mine didn't have a barrel adapter, but that's a big problem as I have a lot of stuff like this all over my house that can be pirated. I've removed the rear bracket and am currently making a custom bracket to fit my bike dash that the new speedometer will be attached to. This is for use in direct sunlight.
