Great at first, doesn't clean well

This is a nice, big, beefy chopping board that's great for slicing meat and collecting juice, but the design makes it almost impossible to use it easy to clean. The textured surface, which is excellent at holding what you're cutting in place, is a nightmare to clean and will rip the sponge to pieces if you try to clean the crevices. I wanted to like it a lot more.
