For those with filter failures

So everything about it is great. Easy to install, easy to replace filter and relatively cheap. Still, I got concerned when I opened the faucet at 100% pressure, the filter broke off and water shot up the ceiling. Through trial and error, I have found that I need to keep the faucet pressure at around 20-30% while I "prime" the new filter by leaving it on for 5 minutes or more. The filter was then able to operate at 100% pressure, note that for normal use you don't need 100% pressure either as this doesn't really change the force or speed at which water flows out of the filter after a given amount of time. Point.
