WISH THE FILTER TO LAST LONGER!

Bought to reduce plastic use. Very easy to install. I liked that it comes with all the different faucet parts if needed. The only thing I need is that I wanted the filter to last longer. I've had it maybe a month, maybe a little longer, and the display is already showing about halfway through red.

We found the best sink filter

They are MUCH better in every way than the polyurethane filter I replaced. The Brita is stronger, much more compact and the water definitely tastes better. In addition, the "Change filter now" indicator is much easier to read and is mechanical, not electrical, so you don't have to burn out a built-in and inaccessible light bulb after a few months.

Less than a month old, no leaks. Very disappointed with this product

Just started spitting water. Make sure the connection was tight and still leaking from the top of the device. When I turn the dial to drinking water, it squirts out with great force. I am very disappointed in Britta. I read the reviews before buying and saw that other people had this problem too, but just thought it was rare given the brand. I know this sometimes happens with products. I won't be returning because I don't anticipate the increase in Covid cases. I really needed this to work, now

A strange passage from Pur to Brita.

Having a Pur filter for 4 years and switching to Brita was a fixture. The assembly was really elementary compared to the pur bar method. On the first day, the water pressure shot the filter into the device, so we had to be careful not to turn it on completely, which didn't happen every time. There's also a really terrible filter indicator, which is basically the same as those little empty slots on public ports, while Pur has an LED indicator. For those with filter failures

So everything about it is great. Easy to install, easy to replace filter and relatively cheap. Still, I got concerned when I opened the faucet at 100% pressure, the filter broke off and water shot up the ceiling. Through trial and error, I have found that I need to keep the faucet pressure at around 20-30% while I "prime" the new filter by leaving it on for 5 minutes or more. The filter was then able to operate at 100% pressure, note that for normal use you don't need 100% pressure either as…

I stumbled across this while looking for a similar Pur faucet style filter I had before. Brita seems to have tried to simplify filter installation/replacement by doing away with the unscrewable filter canister. And okay. But. When you plug in the Brita, you'll immediately understand why faucet mounted Pur filters place their filters in a sealed container that can withstand the water pressure.
