In general, the collars and remote control work well. But after a month one of the collars stopped working. It charged and turned on, but didn't respond to the remote - no shock, no vibration, no sound, no light. However, the other collar continued to work, so I know it's not a remote control malfunction. I contacted the manufacturer but received no response. That's why I put a star as the collar didn't last more than a month. Strongly disappointed. I do NOT recommend. Additional Info: This is the second shock collar I have used; I also use underground wireless collars with my dogs. I have quite a bit of experience with electric collars and rest assured there is no user error here. I really wanted these collars to work and I was really impressed with the features and quality of this collar and remote control. I was hoping this would work better but now I'm really disappointed. Finally, one of the main disadvantages of these collars is that the rubber studs are not suitable for long-haired dogs. I used a different collar on my Husky and the metal pins work much better. With rubber pins 50 to 50 whether it touches or not. The biggest design flaw. You mean rubber pins? For real? Fail.
