I needed something other than the traditional harness you see in pet stores. Regular harnesses with standard buckles on the neck and chest were difficult to put on my dog properly without pinching the skin or sagging the coat. This Voyager step-in harness is a MUCH better design with a single Velcro closure and a single top closure where it is easy to access. The dog simply steps in with its front paws, then attach it with Velcro and close the clasp. Easy and hassle free. I've seen several reviews stating that their dog escaped from the harness but I don't understand how this is possible when the harness fits the dog properly. My guess is that if your dog walks away from the harness, you are too big. Make sure you are the right size and that it fits snugly with no loose gaps. If the harness is properly fitted and properly adjusted, the dog will not get out.
