The fan works quite well at "full throttle", but the rheostat does not regulate the speed well. Attempting to start the fan at low speed causes a terrible vibration of the motor controller (hum). Although the description and plug state 110V, the supplied manual states that the fan motor is rated for 220V, which would explain the control and vibration issues. Don't plan to run this at slow/quiet speeds.
