This is a decent setup as I have multiple trailers and need to change hitches all the time. But if you buy this setup, DO NOT leave it on the pickup all the time. I use my grips all year round. I've towed quite a few trailers over the winter. As everything thawed and became dirty, the internal components of the shaft of this facility became clogged with dirt and debris. So much so that it took 3 weeks, numerous impregnations with penetrating oil and a hammer to finally loosen the ball from the shaft. I couldn't even open the lock at the top of the shaft. After an hour's soak in creeping seafoam oil and a wire brush, the system works again. But I noticed that this year, as I drove down the dirt road to tow my trailer, dirt had already built up, making the balls difficult to swap out. So make sure you can store the hitch when not in use when you're out to fetch trailers, and check it often to make sure it doesn't need cleaning. Otherwise you cannot get the ball from this setup.
