I really wanted a minimalist entertainment/media stand as I hate the bulky entertainment centers that were all the rage when I was 'younger'. This stand was really aesthetically pleasing in that regard. We are currently renting a house and I wanted (and wouldn't ask) to mount our 55 inch TV on the wall. This stand has been positioned as designed for TVs up to 55 inches. Well, as you can see in my backlit photo, I would now say that 55 inches really pushes this little stand to its limits. Our TV isn't heavy, but when you combine that weight with the TV's height and width, the stand feels heavy. could fall down at any moment. I know it's not going to happen - I trust physics - but I still tiptoe around him. The TV mount swivels, which it does, but there's almost no resistance when rotating - it wobbles freely. Overall, the design looks shabby. We move more often than most, we're old pros at crate assembly, and while it was an easy assembly I don't really approve of the assembly technique. I can say positive things about everything.
