Please Note: These Conti hoses come with one-piece, detachable Presta valves. If you want to add a sealant (like slime) to them, that doesn't require a lot of 'hacks'. Simply remove the valve, add sealant and reinstall. Reason enough to choose them. I also like to have a spare valve (from an old inner tube) in my bike bag. I've never had a valve fail, but hey, if it does I can replace it without changing the hose. Ever since I've cycled through the Yucatan, Central America and North Africa, I've loved this idea.
