Clawed frogs, both adults and babies, are very fond of Reptomin and seem to grow on it very quickly. They are small enough for clawed frogs. They put them in. The lining will also soften after being in the water for a short period of time. So if they're having trouble, let it soak in there for a while and they'll usually swallow it. the food will fall apart. They also like small shrimp and krill. Krill are harder to buy and are small krill that are good for baby frogs. Even the smallest water frogs don't seem to have a problem with these little krill. Some may find it dirty for their aquarium, but it floats and the frogs eat it quickly. Some water frogs are very shy at first and only want to eat from below. All of this food really floats, and I find it much easier for frogs to eat it. Too much feed is wasted if it falls to the bottom of the tank and gets caught in the rocks. Eventually they will realize that the food is at the top of the tank. You can hand feed them to get them used to foraging for a while so they get used to floating food. They're still breathing air, so they'll have to go up at some point. When the frogs finally start to grow you can convert them to adult size Reptomin as they can get very large and love food. A can of this won't last very long on an adult strain of African pygmy frogs! Small African dwarf frogs will probably enjoy it too. Reptomin Granules will soften when left in water, so you should be able to eat them after a while. African dwarf frogs also love shrimp, and krill in particular are easy for them to grab and eat. My cichlid Blood Parrot also likes Reptomin very much. And she also had a good growth rate. The fish doesn't like the shrimp on this list, nor krill, but this fish only likes reptile and artemia cubes. She refuses any other food. This fish's mouth will not close, and it appears to be sucking in food to chew with its molars. So she has a hard time eating a lot and I think she's picky about the taste of other foods in general. Reptomin is just the right size to go in your mouth. She likes it very much and she will wait and wait and be excited for it. I feed her with my hands to make sure she gets them in her mouth, but she can jump up and successfully catch them from above. She can even eat a larger Reptomin because although they are longer, they are still thin enough to fit in her mouth. She's a picky fish and will miss many things, but Reptomin is her favorite and she's growing at it. My freshwater angelfish don't like it at all and will just ignore it. They love all kinds of food but not reptomin, so they taste the opposite of the blood parrot. Another good thing about this feed is that it doesn't seem to get stuck in my filters as often as some other competitor feeds. Some time ago I bought another competitor's food and the frogs and blood parrot didn't like it either, it was too runny and kept getting stuck in the filters even when the fill levels were low. This food appears to be the right consistency and size, which is why it isn't. In addition, it does not last too long, it absorbs quickly!
