I was looking for containers to hold my daily meds for a week and they worked great. I have a lot of medication so I needed a good size but not too big to handle. I needed something big enough for fish oil pills and supplements and enough containers to take something 4 (four) times a day (morning/am/afternoon/evening/before bed). The lids on these containers are plastic and the card sharpener writes well on them so I can mark them. I was also able to look through them to see the pills inside (or the lack of them!). The lids can be easily screwed on and have no transverse threads. The containers were undamaged upon arrival and appear to be quite durable for the money. My only recommendation: I wish they were color coded. But instead I ordered colored office dots for the lids and it worked even better. I highly recommend these bins for organizing small items. I put my daily medication containers in a labeled ziplock bag and keep it with me in my walker bucket for convenience. I don't need to bother anyone and it works fine. I store my weekly meds in these containers for a week and put the silica bag in ziplock bags in wet weather, which saves me a lot of time. I always try to make life easier and that seems to have helped. I hope this works for you too.
