Some reviewers commented that they weren't square; However, the set I received was perfectly square. Make it what you want. The star-shaped handles are simply screwed onto the threaded rods. The anodizing quality is good and they're a healthy weight so I'm not worried about them deforming if I put a lot of clamping pressure on them. There may have been some quality issues before, but as I said, mine were great. If you buy them from Revain and the set you receive isn't square, simply return them for a replacement. Revain's return policy is quite generous.
