Review on Enhanced Ultra Quiet Fish Tank Filter: 4-in-1 Internal Aquarium Filter with Submersible Water Pump for Oxygenation, Aeration, and Water Change - Ideal for Betta, Turtle, Pond Fish, and Garden by Autumn Robertson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Stronger than expected and virtually silent

Exactly as advertised, this filter performs amazingly! I tested it in a 5 gallon bucket quarantining some snails and it was kind of a disaster because the performance is VERY strong. I actually use it in a 40 gallon water paludarium, it has different filtration and the tank has a very low bioburden so I wasn't worried about it being perfect but it actually holds up very well! The tank did well and this thing is stronger than ever. It can clog relatively easily, but dirt is also easy to remove. The suction doesn't seem to be strong, even though the outlet flow is so strong. If you have creatures that are sensitive to the exit, I definitely recommend putting a sponge or something on the exit to disperse the flow a bit. The instructions for the different nozzles were very difficult to interpret. I personally didn't care about the oxygenation option or the wave function(?), but I had to do a lot of googling to figure out how the oxygenation function works (it's simple and pretty neat) and I still don't understand what a wave is. . I don't care, but just FYI. It's also a little tricky to disassemble the filter because you have to click on several tabs and pull quite hard, but it's doable and I didn't have to disassemble it often. so i'm fine Overall I am very happy with this filter. As some other people have mentioned, the fact that the compartments can be taken apart means you can upgrade this filter very easily from the included sponges. I plan to add activated carbon to the filter soon.
