Review on ๐Ÿ“บ Enhance Your TV Reception with the KING OA8300 Jack Replacement Head HDTV Directional Over-the-Air Antenna - White by Nicholas Suave

Revainrating 5 out of 5

And the results of the comparison were.

I replaced my original Winegard Batwing Wingman a few years ago when analog TV went out and replaced it with a Winegard Sensar IV with a Wingman HDTV antenna. It worked fine (the few times we watch TV) but lately we haven't been able to tune in as many channels due to bad weather. So I did some research to find out more about King Jack and decided to give it a try. First, I performed complete (4) unidirectional channel scans (N, E, S, W) with the Winegard Sensar IV. recording the number of stations passed by each scan (auxiliary power on); then did the same with the King Jack OA8300. Results were NOT impressive for King Jack as Winegard got more channels in all (4) directions. While the King Jack is smaller, slimmer, cheaper and an easy upgrade to Winegard and new school racks, the Winegard Sensar IV with Wingman offers better channel reception (not huge, but significantly more - from 3 > 5 > 10 additional channels depending on the direction of the antenna). So if you don't want to spend more money on omnidirectional HDTV antennas, my vote is for the Winegard Sensar IV with Wingman!

Pros
  • Outstanding Overall Performance
Cons
  • Crumpled
