This thing blows away all the competition

When I bought my campervan it had a Winegard Batwing that didn't work, I cleared all the connections and checked if it was broken, it was me replaced it with a new Batwing and then ran a channel scan. I wasn't impressed with the number of channels received. Distance issue with Wingman Sensar IV. So I decided to turn Jack on and my channel scan went up to 174. This thing is way better than any Winegard I've used and cheaper. this antenna does not work as well as winegard. This thing works in the

Amazing and easy to install

I bought this antenna to replace my broken bat wing. The antenna still worked fine except the bracket was broken. I did a scan before replacing it and the King had a much stronger signal as seen in my signal meter and found a few extra channels. The signal didn't even weaken when I lowered the antenna from 36" to 12" (I had to trim the mounting tubes to get the new antenna to free up my AC box). My Batwing even had upgraded UHF padding. However, I couldn't pick up local FM stations like I did…

And the results of the comparison were.

I replaced my original Winegard Batwing Wingman a few years ago when analog TV went out and replaced it with a Winegard Sensar IV with a Wingman HDTV antenna. It worked fine (the few times we watch TV) but lately we haven't been able to tune in as many channels due to bad weather. So I did some research to find out more about King Jack and decided to give it a try. First, I performed complete (4) unidirectional channel scans (N, E, S, W) with the Winegard Sensar IV. recording the number of…

Pros
  • Outstanding Overall Performance
Cons
  • Crumpled

I was a bit hesitant about this antenna but after taking the plunge I couldn't be happier. Before the installation, I was able to receive around 15 stations at home, some of which broke when there was wind or antenna movements caused by people walking in the mobile home. After installation I increased the number of channels to 20, they are all crystal clear and the RV shakes absolutely evenly everywhere. I will post an update after using it at my campsite but my first impression is very…

Great replacement bat wing

I ordered a replacement king jack for our camper van as the bat wing flapped a bit on the road and showed signs of wear on the rubber roof. In addition, we received numerous pixel channels. King Jack is quick and easy to install. Our reception went from 66 Batwing channels, 20 of which are too pixelated to view, to 75 zero pixelated channels with King Jack. Note; The bat wing had three rubber feet at the bottom. With the King installed, the aluminum antenna mounts now rested directly on the…
