For Z370 Motherboards only.
I bought these to replace and simplify my audio setup on my Z270 Motherboard, Big Mistake! Turns out HD Audio is not supported on my board. I plugged it in and it came up and worked out of the box. It was plug n Play but,,, I could not figure out why the sound was horrible. I opened up my Nehimic control panel and soon found out that USB audio is not supported with HD Audio output. Went to Nehimic web site to see if USB was supported and read that I needed V3 of the software but it only supports Z370 motherboards. I can not offer a true rating as I can not use these with my system.
- The surround sound makes it easier to locate enemies in competitive games
- The mic easily picks up nearby noises which could be distracting
