Ideal for oil pastels
I decided on this paper after I wanted to start with oil pastels and did a lot of research. This paper is thick but very smooth, and the oil pastel settles like butter, making the shading very smooth. It comes with two pads, making it a very good price. In the photos above I used baby oil to fade out some of the pastel colors and the paper held up really well.
