I love it! in drawing, painting and art supplies

This sketchbook I bought takes oil pastels or colored pencils very gently. This should be great material for me and my daughter to complete a masterpiece. rzunimag.

Pros
  • decent performance
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great for oil pastels

I chose this paper after wanting to start using oil pastels and doing a lot of research. This paper is thick but very smooth, and the oil pastel settles like butter, making the shading very smooth. It comes with two pads, making it a very good price. In the photos above I used baby oil to blend the pastels and the paper held up really well.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • No instructions

As described, good value for money

Love this oil pastel so far. I haven't tried soft pastel yet because it's so smooth. But he has a small tooth so I would expect him to be able to handle multiple coats of soft pastels or pastels in addition to oil pastels. My Paul Rubens oil pastels go perfectly with this paper. My Pentel oil pastel doesn't fit. So if you're using a beginner's oil pastel like Pentel, a different type of paper might work for you. I am happy with my purchase and it works for what I need it was good value for…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Fading

Ideal for oil pastels

I decided on this paper after I wanted to start with oil pastels and did a lot of research. This paper is thick but very smooth, and the oil pastel settles like butter, making the shading very smooth. It comes with two pads, making it a very good price. In the photos above I used baby oil to fade out some of the pastel colors and the paper held up really well.
