If you have an engine that has been rode hard and put away wet (used hard, but not all oIL changes done when due) I recommend to keep some of the build up and sludge at bay and even help clean some of it up. I've used this for years and noted oil consumption reduced by 50%, sometimes more or less depending on if and how much the engine was neglected. Rislone has worked very well for me in the past and NEVER had a problem caused by it. (Please follow manufacturer recommendations for some late model vehicles). It's not fairly dust and won't fix a broken engine, but I've been able to reduce oil consumption and sometimes reduce limited exhaust smoke. All because it removed carbon and gunk on valves and oil piston rings. Recommend start using on engines over 100k+ in every other oil changes if the engine is using less than a quart of oil between changes. More frequently if the engine heavy worn.
